The short version
ScottyIndex is a free price guide. There are no accounts and no passwords. We only collect your email if you type it into a form, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Email you give us. If you sign up for the newsletter, join a waitlist, save a search, or send a message through the contact form, we store the email address and anything you wrote.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and which listings get clicked. Google sets cookies to do this. We also log listing clicks (which listing, which page) without any personal details attached.
- Contact form metadata. When you send a message we keep your browser's user agent to help filter spam.
eBay links
Listing links go to eBay through the eBay Partner Network. When you click one, eBay may set its own cookies, and we earn a commission if you buy something. What eBay does with that data is covered by eBay's privacy notice.
How we use it
To send the emails you asked for, answer your messages, and figure out which parts of the site are useful. Newsletter emails are sent through Resend, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon).
What we don’t do
We don't sell or rent your data, we don't run third-party ad networks, and we don't share your email with anyone except the providers above that we need to run the site.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom. To have your email or messages deleted, or to ask what we have on file, reach us through the contact page. You can block or clear Google Analytics cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
